“What I hope to get out of this course.”

I am not the type of person who can pick up a book and read it day after day. I have never read a whole book just for enjoyment-- it may be due to my ADD or I'm just not an "english" person, but I have only read books because they have been assigned to me.
In addition, I have never been that strong of a writer. I took an english class my freshman year that was somewhat of a creative writing class and it was fun to see what I would come up with.

I hope that this course will open me up to new books that I could enjoy to read as well as enjoy writing stories.

“To me, writing is….”

To me, writing is being able to express yourself. Whether you write poetry, fiction, non-fiction, etc., one is able put their words into a story for others to read an enjoy.
